Training plan 2017 – Though we do encourage everyone to join in for the group spins, we understand that this is not always possible. We would ask anyone with Garmin Connect to connect to D2K Charity Cycle. This way we will be able to monitor your training progress and place you in the correct group on the day.

Here is a check list of items that you should ensure you have to make your experience as enjoyable as possible:

· Helmet – no Helmet no Cycle!!
· Padded cycling shorts – a must!
· Rain Jacket – in this weather, always a good idea!
· Gloves – keep the digits warm!
· Snood – not essential but helps keep your neck and face warm!
· Mudguards – with the weather being so unpredictable at the moment, mudguards are an essential bit of kit. Not just as a consideration to other riders but to yourself as well.
· Lights on your bike – be safe, be seen!
· Water – we don’t want anyone dehydrating!
· Snack (Protein Bar, Banana etc) – all Sunday spins have a halfway point where we stop for a breather. A little snack will give you the energy to continue on!

That’s about it. If you have any questions, you trainer will be only too happy to answer them on Sunday.
